My book, The Best Bread Ever: Great Homemade Bread Made Using Your Food Processor, Broadway Books, 1997, is the culmination of many years perfecting my unique technique for making flavorful, artisan-style breads at home. In the spring of 1998, the book won the IACP Julia Child Award for Best Book by a First Time Cookbook Author and the James Beard Award for the Best Baking Book of the year. (Priscilla and our team of testers is actively working on revising the book.)

By the way, the title for the book comes from children who sampled my bread. They would say, “Charlie makes the best bread ever.” My editor thought that would make an excellent title for the book. Et voilà!
